I Know You Would
The day you leave,
you leave for a better place.
This deceiving world
does not deserve you.
If I am granted the grace of something better,
then you deserve the very best —
only the finest, the greatest.
You had to go...
The house is no longer
a peaceful place for you to rest.
You had to go but you're still around,
breathing softly in the background.
You didn’t leave. You stayed.
I know you would have.
I can feel your presence,
your existence,
your vibration,
your passion.
You've gone nowhere.
Here you are,
forever staying.
Your spirit knows no boundaries
within my compassion,
bound in my core,
within my boundless soul.
Within my passion,
my existence,
my visions,
you are married to my quintessence,
a peaceful place for you to rest.
You had to go but you're still around,
breathing softly in the background.
You didn’t leave. You stayed.
I know you would have.
I can feel your presence,
your existence,
your vibration,
your passion.
You've gone nowhere.
Here you are,
forever staying.
Your spirit knows no boundaries
within my compassion,
bound in my core,
within my boundless soul.
Within my passion,
my existence,
my visions,
you are married to my quintessence,
hidden in my silence,
In storms, in rain,
through hurt and pain,
through all my sadness and happiness,
through laughter and tears,
through my brightest days
and darkest nights —
you are everywhere,
keeping me warm
close to your heart.
In storms, in rain,
through hurt and pain,
through all my sadness and happiness,
through laughter and tears,
through my brightest days
and darkest nights —
you are everywhere,
keeping me warm
close to your heart.
