Serenade for Farah
When the longing starts to sing,
I breathe the light upon your face
A glow that outshines the full moon's embrace
When your love is a whisper,
a secret in my ear
The moon itself falls into my arms,
and I am radiant here.
The distant stars are flickering,
weaving every story of life
In the breadth of the world,
our vows are gently sworn
To be faithful to the promises,
from dusk until dawn
Like the promise of the moon...
to the waiting sun.
Reflecting the light, giving life its form
The wind carries the clouds through a quiet storm
Drifting towards the glow of the lonely moon's face
While the stars themselves dance to complete this space.
Then the dawn arrives, beautiful and new
Kissing the earth, with a dewy hue
The birds, they fly free,
their joyful song is so true
Inviting my night... to sing its poem to you.
I breathe this song of longing to the calm and waiting world
A soft hello to the moon, in its orbit, gracefully curled
When you speak of love, the empty spaces in my life are filled
The moon itself falls into my arms, and I am radiant still.
Lagu rindu kunafaskan ke wajah alam yang tenang
menyapa mesra bulan yang mengambang penuh
Saat cinta kau lafazkan terisi sepi ruang hidup
bulan jatuh ke riba, aku bercahaya...
