The Remembrance of Heart Grip

When we fly, we'll fly higher than Heaven. Even if we fall, we'll fall on the Seventh.

قبضة القلب

O Lord, do not loosen this grip as long as the heavens and the earth endure.

بِسْمِ الْوِدَادِ وَالْوَصْلِ

In the name of love and union

وَإِنِّي أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا الْحُبُّ، وَأَنَّ الرِّضَا رَسُولُهُ

I bear witness that there is no god but love,

and that Al-Rida is His Messenger.

يَا رَبِّ، لَا تَفُكَّ هَذِهِ الْقَبْضَةَ مَا دَامَتِ السَّمَاوَاتُ وَالْأَرْضُ

O Lord, do not loosen this grip

as long as the heavens and the earth endure.

وَاجْمَعْنِي بِالَّذِي دَعَاكَ بِاسْمِي فِي اللَّيْلِ، وَبَكَى بِصَوْتٍ لَا يُسْمَعُ

And unite me with the one who called upon you

by my name at night,

and wept with a voice that could not be heard.

وَارْزُقْنَا بَيْتًا مِنْ نُورٍ، فِيهِ سَكِينَةٌ، وَفِي كُلِّ رُكْنٍ ذِكْرُكَ وَحُبُّكَ

And provide us with a house of light,

in which there is tranquillity,

and in every corner, there is Your remembrance and love.
